Who:
ALL Cub Scouts, parents, and siblings

What:

A 60-minute nature program presented one Saturday a month at Cub World in Conroe, Texas.
When:
1:00 - 2:00pm on the 3rd Saturday of the month.
Where:
The presentations are held at the Pavilion in Cub World at Camp Strake.
Why:
Intended to highlight some aspect of the natural world in a fun and educational setting tailored for youngsters.
How:
Presented by amateur and professional naturalists, scientists, and earth-wise volunteers. There have been many interesting and informative programs in the past including those with live animals (snakes, lizards, and turtles), rocks and fossils, and aquatic insects. Previous year programs have included talks on forest ecology, fungi and mushrooms, and amphibians.
